Studying in Prague

Safety

According to the Global Peace Index the Czech Republic is the 6th safest country from all over the world (out of the 163 monitored nations). Prague has also been ranked high on the list of 100 safest cities in the world according to the study created by Numbeo. The Czech capital is one of the safest places on Earth and therefore an ideal destination for students who are coming every year in great numbers to experience the beautiful city of Prague.

In terms of COVID, Prague is one of the first cities in Europe that have returned to a normal lifestyle, having controlled the spreading of the virus in a large portion of the city. Any future case of the virus is more likely to be identified effectively and use the necessary prevention measures to ensure the safety of every citizen. The Czech Republic has made efforts to supply every community with enough face masks, vaccines and medicines to fight against the pandemic.

Intern Risk & Safety Management

There are many risk assessment procedures conducted before any new programs and placements are launched. This means that all possible risks are evaluated beforehand and assures that, in the unusual event that an issue occurs, we can manage it swiftly while minimising the impact on participants and the community. These risk assessments include:

  • Accommodation
  • Transport
  • Illnesses
  • Theft
  • Alcohol

You can expect the practice of a detailed risk assessment for every program, first aid equipment and first aid trained staff, on site security measures, support for mental health concerns and many other practices and procedures to ensure the safety and well being of all participants.
